I look beyond the stars at night I stare and stare Only to fall into the abyss And become hypnotized By the sweetest melody echoing in my head Its hum so serene, I am unaware That I have been swallowed by darkness This darkness is my dream So late at night when the stars shine My deepest desires break free from their prison And become my temporary reality In this realm of the fallen mind Where all truths become rumors And all I want is mine But then the sacred hum fades away This world blackens again And my dreams shatter to pieces I try to sing my blissful song And yet my voice cannot escape My beautiful melody of sleep

Progress Measurement

Progress Measurement since posting the '5 Months' journal last week: Been on dA: 5 times Devs remaining from the initial 895: 599 and back up to 622 now! xD Journals remaining: 21 Replies: up to date, yay! Edit: *Holy moly, I'm tired! xD I'm probably getting a lot of people thinking I'm insane for writing responses for journals from one month to one year ago. However, I think if someone took the time to write it out, it must mean something important to them, so regardless of time, if I'm going to read and feel I should comment, I will! Cheers~

Hey, look! Only 5 months since my last post! I'm making progress, yep. I guess a quick update on my side: - I've got mild carpal tunnel syndrome from work, so I may never work on any (lengthy) cgs ever again. If I do, I would be so happy. - I was reading my old poems (including some that were never posted to dA)... it was so nostalgic xD - I miss my lovely Lily (refer to picture left and bottom). Since not being here as often I've missed a lot of awesome devs. Though I can't guarantee I'll get to all 895 devs in my box, I'll do my best. So does the above point mean that I'll be hanging around dA again? Who knows. Though while I'm here
